Setup requirements

Make sure the racing simulator fits your venue.

Before quoting, SIR Motorsport needs to understand vehicle access, power, space and whether the simulator will stay in the van or need an indoor off-van setup.

Access

  • Venue address and postcode.
  • Vehicle access and parking information.
  • Load-in route and any height/width restrictions.
  • Setup and pack-down time windows.

Power

  • Confirm whether mains power is available.
  • Tell us if a generator may be required.
  • Identify where the van will park in relation to the power source.
  • For public events, provide site safety rules if available.

Setup area

  • Outdoor is normally simplest: we drive the van into position and plug in.
  • Indoor works best when the venue is large enough for the van to drive in.
  • If the van cannot go inside, the simulator can be removed and taken into the venue by arrangement.
  • Off-van indoor setup requires extra time, access details and may add cost.

Event format

  • Guest numbers and expected peak times.
  • Competition or casual attraction.
  • Leaderboard, sponsor logo and results requirements.
  • Whether the event needs photos, video or social content.

Best venues

Outdoor event spaces, car shows, corporate venues with vehicle access, show halls with suitable door height and race-screening areas.

Outdoor setup

The simplest format is drive-up and plug-and-play: the van parks in position, connects to power or generator support, and runs from the van.

Indoor setup

If the van cannot drive into the venue, send photos, door sizes, access route and lift/stair details so we can quote the off-van setup properly.
